Rockie Mountain Routes

Are you considering a flight to the convention in Ohio, or any place else east of the Rocky Mountains? Well if you are, here are some articles by our members who have made the trip many times. These articles were originally posted for the convention held here at Pearson Field, Fort Vancouver in 2005. Many of the national members were a little nervous about making the mountain crossing, so we posted these articles to assist them in their journey. Many members took advantage of these suggested routes and expressed their appreciation for our posting them. After the convention, the articles were removed from the site.

In last couple of years, I've received a few requests from national members for copies of the articles. I didn't have them, but Mitch Mitchell did have them archived on CD's and he sent the compressed information to me, which I am reposting here for all to use. They are a great asset to anyone looking for a route through the Rocky Mountains.

Remember, most,if not all of these routes were written for people in the EAST coming WEST for the convention in Vancouver. You will have to reverse the routes for going EAST to the convention in OHIO or any other destination on the Eastern side of the Rockies.
